Adopting
How a cat comes home
Four steps and a few weeks. We'll tell you where your cat is at every one of them, like a parcel, only purring.
- 01
Say hello
Tell us which cat you liked, or what you're looking for. A volunteer calls you back within two days.
- 02
Come and visit
Book a quiet half hour in the cat room. Sit on the floor and let them come to you.
- 03
A chat at home
A volunteer pops round for half an hour to look at windows and balconies and answer your questions.
- 04
Delivered
You take your cat home in a carrier with a starter box, and we call after a week, a month and a year.

Questions
Can I adopt if I work full time?
Often, yes: many cats are happy on their own all day. Tell us how your days look and we'll suggest one.
I rent. Can I adopt?
Yes, with your landlord's written permission.
Do you rehome indoor-only cats to flats?
Yes, some of our cats are happiest indoors. Windows need a screen if they open wide.
What if it doesn't work out?
The cat comes back to us, always. No judgement, at any point in the cat's life.
